Purchasing and tracking your order

How do I place an order on your website?

It’s very easy; just follow the steps below:
– Choose a brand or an item category from the navigation menu or search for your specific item using the filters
– Select your item and click ‘Add to bag’
– When you’ve added all your chosen items, to continue your order click on ‘view bag’
– Then sign in to your account or fill in a contact form with your contact details (name, email, delivery address…) Creating an account is not required to confirm your purchase
– Finally, select your payment method to complete your order and confirm it. You will receive an email with your order confirmation and we will update you on every step of the shipment.

How can I find a specific item on the eshop?

When you are on the eshoppage, you can select several filters to narrow down your search: category, brand, colour, size. The search results will be adjusted according to the filters you have selected.

Can I reserve an item on your website and confirm it at your store?

Not at the moment because we do not yet have a physical store.

Can I place an order over the phone?

No, you can only order online, through the eshop.

Can I cancel my order or make changes to it?

Yes, you can cancel your order if it is not yet confirmed.
If you have already confirmed your order but it has not yet been shipped, you can change your order to an item of a similar price. We regret that a straight cancellation is not possible.

Can I send back my order if there is something wrong with it?

Only if the item is damaged. If this is the case, you can return it free of charge and your payment will be refunded.

Can I send back my order if the chosen clothing does not fit?

No, please make sure you check the size guide before confirming your order.

If I send back my order, can I have a refund or a credit for a future order?

We regret that no return will be accepted if your item is in good condition. Whatever the reason, no refund will be given. However, an exchange for a similarly-priced item may be considered. In this case, please email Customer Service at: contact@iconicitems.paris

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

Several methods of payment are possible:
– Bank card: we accept all major debit/credit cards via Mercanet from BNP Bank (Visa, Mastercard etc), except American Express
– Bank transfer
– Paypal

Can I pay in instalments without any fee?

Yes, you can pay in three instalments, free of charge, if your order is a minimum of 2000 euros.

Do I need to pay delivery fees?

There are no delivery charges for deliveries within the European Union (EU). For deliveries to countries outside the EU you will have to pay customs fees (calculated according to your order). However, Iconic Items Paris will not charge you for delivery.

Which currencies can I use to pay for my order?

We currently accept : euros, GB pounds, US dollars. Your currency is displayed as soon as you enter your delivery address.

How can I create an eshop account?

To create your account, click on ‘My account’ in the top navigation menu, then click on ‘new account’.

Do I need an account to place an order?

Not at all. You can just give your contact details and delivery information before confirming your order.

Can I access my orders in the My Account page?

Absolutely. Once you are logged into your account you can track your orders and view your order history.

What are the benefits of having a customer account?

Your account allows you to : Consult your order history, View your bills, Manage your delivery addresses. In this way you will have a complete overview of all your contacts with Iconic Items Paris.

I can’t access my account. What should I do?

Contact Customer Service using the contact form, and we will deal with your problem as soon as possible.

I have forgotten my password; how do I reset it?

If you forget your password, click on the link ‘I forgot my password’ in the login box. You will then receive an email with a reset link.

Will my personal details stay safe?

Absolutely. We keep your personal data private and confidential and only give it out with your consent or if legally permitted to do so. For further details, please refer to the Iconic Items Paris Privacy policy.

Size Guide

Where can I find a size guide?

When you visit the shop page and select an item, you will find a link to the size guide in the item description. You can also find a link in the website footer, at the bottom of the screen.

How can I be sure that the clothes I have chosen will fit me?

Have a good look at the size guide and the advice given about choosing the correct size. Please contact us via the Contact form if you need any more information.

Are the sizes of vintage clothing the same as we have today?

No, they are usually smaller than today’s standard sizing. You will need to choose a size that is 1 or 2 sizes bigger than your normal size, depending on the brand and design. For instance, a Couture vintage skirt sized 8(US) or 10(UK) would be more like a skirt size 6(US) or 8(UK) today or even 4(US) or 6(UK) when the design is quite tight-fitting. Contact us via the Contact form if you are unsure.

Just fill in the form ‘Subscribe to our newsletter’ that you’ll find at the bottom of each page and click ‘Subscribe’.

How can I unsubscribe from the newsletter?

When you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, you will receive a confirmation email. At the bottom of this email, there is a link which says ‘unsubscribe’. Click on it to unsubscribe.

Is it possible to meet Iconic Items Paris?

Yes, you can meet us at Iconic Items Paris onlyby sending a request for an appointment via our contact form, the personal shopper form, or even just by email.

Does Iconic Items Paris have a personal shopper service, to find an exclusive item or look for something specific?

Yes, we do. To take advantage of this service, complete the dedicated Personal Shopper contact form. You will find this form in the section “Do you have a special request?” available on our ‘Home’ and ‘About’ pages.

Can I sell vintage articles through the Iconic Items Paris eshop?

No, this service is not available.

Does Iconic Items Paris have a physical store?

No, not yet. We’ll keep you up to date via our newsletter and social networks as soon as Iconic Items Paris opens a store.

Intellectual property rights for the website iconicitems.paris

Can I use any information or pictures from Iconic Items Paris’ website for my personal use ?

Yes, but only under certain conditions. You can not share our website content for commercial purposes. Of course, for your own personal and private use, you are free to share our social media content, as long as you expressly credit Iconic Items Paris.

What are the conditions for using website content and images?

ou can not use any content from the site for commercial purposes without prior permission from the site’s webmaster. We only accept permission requests from News professionals (the media, press agencies etc).
